Ein Bokek, Israel, 5 Feb 2027
This marathon circles the southern Dead Sea basin and includes the event’s signature run on the border embankment beside the sea. The route is described by the organiser as flat and fast, but much of it is on compacted dirt with potholes, cracks and stones before a paved final kilometre on the promenade. It stands out for access to a normally restricted embankment, wide views over the Dead Sea basin, and its roots in the long-running Ein Gedi race tradition.
One distance, 42 km, up to 28 m of climb.
On the course: toilets, water.
6 food and drink products on the course.
