This course starts at Cobenzl, heads past Hermannskogel, runs along the Weidlingbach, then climbs Hermannskogel again from the back before joining the Classic Trail and returning via Kahlenberg. It is presented by the organiser as the newest and most challenging route in the event, aimed at experienced runners looking for a tougher trail test. The route offers genuine trail running on the edge of Vienna, combining wooded hills above the city with a course layout that links several of the area’s best-known high points.

This course starts at Cobenzl and loops through the Vienna Woods over Hermannskogel, past Agnesbrünnl, and back via Kahlenberg to the event base. The organiser presents it as the middle option of the three races: achievable for many runners, but demanding enough that some training is advisable. It combines selected trails above the city with the distinctive character of trail running over the rooftops of Vienna.
