This course runs on hillside trails above the Ligurian coast, with the Isola Gallinara constantly in view and start and finish set directly on Albenga’s beach. It is presented by the organiser as a true mountain-style trail that demands autonomy, sound footing and full preparation for a long and specific effort. Although still a relatively young event, it has become one of the first major off-road fixtures of the Italian season and draws runners to both race and enjoy the seaside setting.
