Lakeland 50 2027
Coniston, United Kingdom, 24 July 2027
This point-to-point course uses the second half of the Lakeland 100, starting at Dalemain and tracing Ullswater, Haweswater, Long Sleddale, Kentmere, Ambleside, Langdale and Tilberthwaite before finishing in Coniston. It is run on rough Lakeland terrain with substantial climbing and descending, and the organiser stresses that there is no easy option despite it being the shorter event. The race has a continuous mountain ultra character that rewards strong preparation, steady forward movement and confident navigation.
