The route combines lakeside running with sustained trail sections and key checkpoints such as Albishorn, Etzel, Boulderhalle and Pfannenstiel, giving it the feel of a long point-to-point adventure around the region before returning to Albisgüetli. It is a demanding day out that rewards strong pacing, navigation skills and endurance rather than alpine technicality.
