This course starts and finishes at Henry Angel Trackhead and follows the Hume & Hovell Walking Track through remote mountain country on a mix of constructed walking track and fire trail, with most of the route on singletrail. Runners pass old gold mining relics, a hand dug tunnel, Mannus Lake, Paddy’s River Dam and alpine snow gums, and the course reaches over 1200 metres with exposure to a wide range of October weather.
