This road marathon starts in the Uludağ hotels area and descends toward Eker Meydan in Nilüfer, linking mountain roads, Kirazlı village and Doğancılar. The route is unusual for a road marathon because it spends much of the early distance at altitude on a long net downhill, but still includes smaller climbs and a more testing final section. It is presented by the organiser as Turkey’s first downhill road marathon and one of the country’s established road marathons, giving the race a distinctive mountain-to-city character.
